The Michael Jackson Estate and Cirque du Soleil will continue their incredibly ambitious Immortal show right here in NoVA on March 21 and 22.
GMU will host the international tour, which has been gaining widespread acclaim for its bold performance. The show combines the well-known audacity of Cirque’s talented troupes and an inventive celebration of the King of Pop.
After premiering in Montreal in October 2011, the tour visited four continents. Yet unlike most Cirque performances, Immortal gives off a quite different feel.

With nearly 50 international performers and directed by the talented Jamie King, Immortal merges original Jackson lyrics with intense acrobatic stunts, all presented in a rock-concert style. Veterans from the Bad tour have helped enhance authenticity in Immortal’s 11-piece band, further preserving MJ’s legacy of showmanship. Who could forget Michael’s Tupac-inspired hologram performance from Las Vegas in May?
